Destiny has grossed over $325 million within the first five days of release. The sales information comes from a combination of Chart-Track, first parties, retail customer sell-through information and Activision Blizzard’s internal estimates.
Fans have been playing Destiny none stop since its release on the 9th. According to Bungie players have logged more than 100 million hours of online play in the first week of it release.

Destiny launched this week, and if you didn’t know then you haven’t been looking at your friends list because everyone else does. Between September 12 and September 14, Destiny players will be able to access to a special Crucible weekend playlist that features the Salvage game type.
In Salvage you do 3v3 objective type game modes to recover and salvage relics across small to medium sized maps. The reward for taking part in this weekend’s event will be Crucible Gear, and Marks toward your Reputation.

Microsoft not forgetting that some people still just want a simple system, they will be releasing new Xbox 360 bundles just for those gamers. The first bundle, called the Xbox 360 500GB Holiday Value Bundle, will come bundled with copies of both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops II and one month of Xbox Live Gold access for $249. Not a bad price for a system, and two games.
The Blue Bundle also comes with a copy of Ghosts and Black Ops II and one month of Xbox Live Gold access for $249, although this bundle will be sold exclusively at Walmart.Add a comment
Counting down the time until the new Super Smash Bros. Well, you still have wait, but you can get a taste of the game ahead of time.
Starting today, Nintendo will be sending out codes for the super Smash Bros. 3Ds demo to a few Club Nintendo Platinum members. It will include a total of four codes, so you can hand out to a few friends. As for the demo itself it is set to come on eShop September 19th.Add a comment
