Microsoft Rumored To Remove XBL Requirement for Netflix and Hulu

There is a major rumor that is floating around the internet, stating that Microsoft will be backing away from the Xbox Live Gold Membership usage for video apps like Hulu and Netflix.

The announcement is supposedly scheduled for E3 in June, and looks to be position themselves for the Xbox TV service. The source has not clarified that if it just for the Xbox 360 or the One, or even both. The move looks to help the Xbox One compete with the ever growing PlayStation Plus.

The news will help Microsoft gain some traction with the Xbox systems, but we will not know until the rumor is confirmed or not. Hopefully if the rumor is true, the cost of the Live might drop, stay tune for info.
