 OUYA,  has set a launch window for June 2013.

Right now current online retailers, like Amazon and Best Buy are now taking pre-orders for the system.

Julie Uhrman the company's CEO told the Wall Street Journal this:

"We don't need to beat Xbox or Sony or any console that enters the marketplace," Uhrman said. "We need to carve out our own niche." When asked how she feels about the possibility of Apple releasing a controller for its Apple TV, she said, "We are okay with that. One of the promises of being open is you can use what we build for other things. But you can create accessories and peripherals for our device as well. At the end of the day, it makes our ecosystem richer."
