Driving tanks and killing giant monsters, how could you go wrong?

Tank! Tank! Tank! is an Earth Defense Force with, you guessed it tanks. It really doesn't have much of a story arc. Monsters come from almost everywhere, and you shoot them down with your tank. Every Japanese monster and giant mech you can think of is seen here. Seeing them is greta, shooting them down is even better.

The graphics won't be winning any beauty contest any time soon. They seem to fit the theme of the game. Not to serious, and very cartoon-ish. The biggest downside of this game is the terrible controls. Moving around feel like your moving through mud. When being attack you have no way to dodge or move out of the way of monsters attacks. It sucks because this good could've been so much more than just drive and shoot at random monster.

Muti-player is done only with one gamepad and the others using Wii remotes. This is what I found to be the most disappointing part of the game. I really thought you would be able to go online with it. This just feels limited and boxed in. I feel they should have built up on this a little more. The think the game would have been a lot more enjoyable and have more replay value if they had made the multi-player component online.

Bottom Line: The game falls short being good. It's just ok, something that you would catch in the bargin bin. No real online, and really bad controls hold this game down when it could have been something special. Tank! Tank! Tank! 6/10.
